The University of Trieste as Data Controller of your personal data, pursuant to and for the purposes of Reg.to EU 2016/679 hereafter, is GDPR’, hereby informs you that the aforementioned legislation provides for the protection of data subjects with regard to the processing of personal data and that such processing will be based on the principles of fairness, lawfulness, transparency and protection of your privacy and your rights.

Your personal data will be processed in accordance with the legislative provisions of the aforementioned legislation and the confidentiality obligations provided therein.

Purpose and legal basis of the processing.

In particular, your data will be used for the following purposes related to the execution of measures related to contractual or pre-contractual obligations:

  • marketing office;
  • Communicating;
  • Statistical Modelling Society.

By accepting the Privacy Policy the subject grants permission to the Statistical Modelling Society and the University of Trieste (organizer of the workshop): to store the contact data in their database of membership, to be contacted on issues such as conference news, SMS elections and SMS newsletters, and also to transmit data to future workshop organizers so that they can be informed of such workshops.
In case of multiple purchase of the ticket, the subject also grants authorizations on behalf of the conference participants on whose behalf he purchased the tickets.

If the registration/action includes the registration to the newspaper (ie all participants but for a student who selects and pays “student /without magazine”) the user grants permission to the Statistical Modetting Society to transmit contact information to SAGE to allow the delivery of statistical problems

Conservation Period

Please note that, in compliance with the principles of lawfulness, purpose limitation and data minimization, pursuant to art. 5 of the GDPR, the retention period of your personal data is:

  • established for a period of time not exceeding the achievement of the purposes for which they are collected and processed for the execution and fulfilment of the contractual purposes;
  • established for a period not exceeding the service provided;
  • established for a period of time not exceeding the achievement of the purposes for which they are collected and processed and in compliance with the mandatory time prescribed by law.
