The organizers: DEAMS: The Department of Economics Business Mathematics and Statistics “Bruno de Finetti” of the University of Trieste
DEAMS is renowned for its contributions in Statistics and Actuarial Sciences and this is clearly witnessed by the excellent reputation of the master in Statistics and Actuarial Science.
The group of statisticians and applied mathematicians in DEAMS has collected the legacy of Bruno de Finetti who lived and worked in Trieste (until 1954) first in the Generali Insurance company and then as a professor of mathematics and probability at the University of Trieste. Trieste offers many opportunities for hosting the conference.
